Much pain is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin with a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas (natural muscle relaxers) daily - magnesium (which regulates many things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of water per day. Running a body low on water is like running a car low on oil is the analogy the head of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.

Now to the cause - muscles - your back, neck shoulders and head have tender spots. They are knots in the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It makes the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things causing the pain.

The cure - start with a professional massage, (if this does not do it you probably need a chiropractor as well) you will also want to go back over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day rubbing (or lightly scratching on your head) every where that is tender until the knots go away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up under the edge of the skull (to get to those muscles).

For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches what to do and where the pain comes from.

If it's a tension headache you might try Midol. Yes, it's for menstrual cramps, but it works on tension headaches (even if you're a man) because it has a muscle relaxant in it along with a pain killer.
For a migraine type headache take whatever OTC pain killer you prefer and something with caffeine, like coffee or dark chocolate. Then lie down in a dark, quiet place. Sometimes a cold cloth on the forehead or back of the neck can help too. And remember to drink lots of water. Dehydration causes headaches.

pls DO NOT use this method to heal yourself if you dont have a blind faith that it will work...

after you make yourself believe it will DEFINITELY work then...
1. just... forget each and every thing you can think
2. sit on a chair with a straight spinal column...if u wearing a shirt... make touch your neck with collar... and put ur hands on ur knee
3. imagine... u r relaxing...and also... close your eyes...
4. RELAX... take a DEEP BREATH
5. say it to yourself, "I DONT HAVE ANY HEADACHE, AND IF I HAVE ANY, IT HAS DISAPPEARED, AND IF IT IS NOT GONE, IT WILL GO WITHIN SECONDS, AND IT WILL NEVER COME BACK."
6. take another deep breath
7. open ur eyes
8. u r okay now.. and okay for as long as u live

i can guarrantee you.. that it will work. but the only thing is u have to believe..... and have trust on ur self

p.n. while following the procedures stated above, if u can, put off ur shoes and glasses, if u have any, .

if it's a migraine, try some legal narcotics prescribed by your doctor... such as Vicodin. But that stuff will ruin your liver. Frequent and severe headaches are a reason to visit a neurologist as it just might be indicative of an underlying ailment irreparable by ingesting mere OTC pills.
