For those of you who are religious and don't stomp around I say "Good for you and God bless".

However, everytime I ever meet someone who is a real biblethumper, stereotypical born again super uber religious believer and I converse with them it all comes to show they have no faith. They spout words but they don't ever seem to truly believe in anything.

David H: I disagree with you and you have no right or power to shame me..and even trying to attempt it brings shame to you.

FYI people I am not Christian and this was not aimed at Christians. I have met "biblethumpers" of all religions...this was asked because after long conversations with these thumpers all I can get is bits of text spit back at me instead of real God relationship material.

JD: So do we need to convert by the sword and fire too? A closed mind is the devil's and your's seems closed air tight. 1) Never said these people were friends (yes it's true there are people in the world that TALK TO OTHERS..the horror huh) 2) You assume I am out to destroy their faith..that proves you are a terrible person inside to think that...I never tell them this stuff..I sit and listen and ask questions and debate and not once do I turn to them face to face and say "You are just a f'n moron for believeing that". Sounds to me JD that you need to grow up and learn that using your mind can be a lot of fun

David h: I'm an angry man why? Because I disagree? Because I will defend myself from accusations people make up only so they feel good about throwing barbs my way? You need a reality class because I am afraid you will walk into traffic thinking it is a shower.

Hey David you have proved to the stereotypical Christian. I refuyse to bow down b4 you so I am angry and evil and all that and you keep throwing barbs because I will not bow down b4 you and swear to you as Lord and yet you think your actions are holy with the "peace man" you throw around. You somehow think this makes you a better person because you wear a name tag for Christianity and all the while you do what Jesus taught not to do.

I sum up in saying I will be writing to your asylum and saying you need a lot more therepy.

They think that's how religion is supposed to be; they were raised that way. Their parents taught them that religion meant Christianity and the two words went together; anything that said otherwise was "the Devil." And I'm saying this in all seriousness, not to be offensive, because there are people who do that; they adopt their parents' religion and think nothing of it.

Hmmm....I think your being too hard on believers and your comments certainly don't compliment Christianity either. While you sound like you may be a believer, you invite much criticism from your comments. If you are a true believer, shame on you.

I have found that most "Bible-thumpers" possess more faith than a "Non-Bible-thumper." They are more full of The Word which produces faith which is absent in folks who are not in The Word. It's The Word of God that produces faith. You have it all backwards in your criticizing comments. You may not like my answer or choose it as best answer, that's okay though because it's the truth anyway. PEACE!!!

You are a very, very angry individual who needs to consider anger management. Or consider asking Jesus Christ into your life. He can make it all better for you. PEACE!!!

I think you already walked into traffic and got ran over. You need to get a grip man. Your a sad case. But Peace to ya anyways. By the way, I said everything I meant, and I meant everything I said. You need Jesus. PEACE!!!

I think you are right that some people can seem very religious on the surface but when you get to know them they seem to fall short of their faith. Christianity is something you grow into, it's tough . Christianity is the art of molding your life to the requirements of Jesus Christ, and sometimes you need to repent. The point here is that your obviously not a real good friend if rather then strengthen him, you only criticize...that's the down fall of having friends that are not of the faith...

Simple. It's hard to maintain faith when everyone around you thinks religion is a bunch of bs. Think of if you believed in something and then everyone was always telling you that you are stupid and that what you believe in doesn't exist. It feels like you are always under a microscope as a religious person. People look for the slightest of flaws in you. It's tough.

Many people are "religious" or belong to an specific religion because of family tradition, not because they actually chose to, since (lets say) Christianity is the only thing that their parents encouraged them to follow, and the only religion that they would support in their home.
Now people who actually believe, they believe blindly, they believe in God no matter what even if society scuptinize them, or if they are persecuted by their beliefs, they belive. and yes, many of people who are "actually" into religion are skeptics, like the "hypocrites" that Christ talks about, most of us just have a religion because we are really not sure if god exists or what is going to happen when we die, so they say "hmmm, well, I'll go to church, I'll half study the bible and if god actually exists I may go to heaven for doing so" many people don't realize this but its true, and unfortunately I include myself.

Well...

that's why people shouldn't be judged by what they say, but by what they do. And shouldn't be stereotyped, but taken individually.

Peace.

Fanatics don't need to have faith. They all want a cause.
