So did God create Satan knowing he would become a fallen angel, and then the one known as the deceiver? The answer of course is "yes" or God isn't all knowing.

So in knowing this did God create Lucifer strictly to deceive us?

The answer must be yes, but the question is "why"?

You are answering your question for a false answer and comments. You do not need to ask when you are answering it alone with your own wrong anwers, as if you are still a liittle boy sucking from the mamary gland of your mother.. God did not create Satan. Lucifer was one of the angels of God and the most trusted one. Because he was the most trusted, he thought of himself that he is so powerful than any other angels, so that it came to his mind that he can overpower God and have abused his authority and power given by God to him.He has deceived God and wanted to get the throne from God. So God have known this purpose of Lucifer and punished him by telling him that he should be e satan who is against God and this was done. All human being creatures now are being tempted by the satan not to believe in God and to do bad things against God,like stealing robbing, murdering, killing people without cause and many other bad things. an now has given by God where to go , to the siide of satan or to the side of God so that you may klnow what is right or wrong.

You are confusing knowing with acting. God's foreknowledge means that He indeed knows the actions of all morally free creatures. An omnipotent God cannot create a morally free creature incapable of choosing evil.

But God, knowing the actions his creatures would take, also devised a solution that remained perfectly in agreement with His other divine attributes, especially love and righteousness.

There can be no conflicts between the perfect attributes of a truly divine being. Hence, God must act within these boundaries or He is not God. By Christ's atoning sacrifice a means is made for God's perfect justice and love to be made manifest and glorified.

Only God can bring good out of evil (even the Devil's), which is what He is doing and will continue to do until the final judgment.

Asking, "why?" implies we would presume to understand a perfect being's mind. It is a logical error from philosophy that the neophyte often makes.

God knew what Lucifer would do ahead of time and created him anyway. I wonder why too. God also knew we would fall into Satans trap and sin. Does that mean God wanted it that way? Isn't that saying God wanted evil to exsist from the start, just so He could conquer it? I used to think so. I figured without evil we would not know what good is. I longer think so.

Whether angels or humans, God didn't want worship from programed robots. It has to be a free choice. When His created beings went against Him, I don't think it was what He wanted, but He took that situation, and provided salvation to those of us He loved and created in His image. If we had never lost our innocence, we would see God face to face, and without Satan to tempt us we would never have turned from Him. That would have been better and maybe even what God really wanted.

But he allowed Satan to tempt us, I think so that He, not Satan would be proved worthy of worship. This could have happened two ways. 1) We don't listen to Satan, we stick with God. Satan is defeated and mankind never knows sin.

2) We fall into Satans trap But God proves worthy of our worship by making the sacrifice and redeeming us from the power of Satan. So when the Devil first tempted us, God knew that whatever would happen, He would win in the end. He deserves our worship beause of His love. Satan hated us because God created us and loved us after Satans fall. The devil just wants to destroy us but God saved us from that. I worship God for that.

I can see where you're coming from with that process. It may seem at first glance that God in fact endorses sin because He created someone He knew would sin. But that is not the case.

God created all of the angels. He made them perfect - powerful, intelligent, and with a free spirit. God wants us to be free. Lucifer in particular was not created as a bad guy, he was one of the closest good guys to God. Strong, beautiful, smart, basically God's right hand (not that God needs someone to be His right hand). But God gave him free will just like everyone else. With time being in such a position of power has gotten to Lucifer. He had the choice to avoid the temptation, but instead he chose to give in and abandon God and try to steal all of the attention (worship) for himself. He succeeded in part, a 3rd of all of the angels followed him.

Now, it was obviously something that God has planned from the beginning to create beings with free will. He wanted to share the wonder of His world with others. Of course as soon as that thought has crossed His mind, He must have known that He will be betrayed by Lucifer, but he is a true God, He won't cheat or make shortcuts. Instead, he proceeded with the plan, giving Lucifer every opportunity to stay faithful, but Lucifer still chose to disobey, which set the whole sin chain of events in motion.

But what would you expect God to do? Do you see the all-knowing, all-powerful God saying, "Oh, boy, if I proceed with my plan, there might be some bad consequences! I better sweep them all under the carpet now so no one will know and I won't have all this headache to deal with later." Can you really see that? You do realize, of course that this meant that God knew from the beginning that He would have to sacrifice His only Son to resolve the issue later. But is God someone who can be intimidated? Backed into a corner? No, of course not. Or is He someone who would cheat and eliminate possible threats ahead of time? Then what's the point of free will? If we are never really given the opportunity to disobey.

So God proceeded with the plan, knowing how much headache and pain it would cause Him. Because He is sovereign and He is just.

Hope this offered you some insight. I obviously can't claim to know everything that went through God's mind with this whole deal, but this is my understanding for why Lucifer was created and allowed to exist, because it is consistent with the character qualities we see in God.

God did not create Satan. Man created Satan as a way to control people with fear. "If you don't do this or that, you'll go to Hell! Watch out, Satan is everywhere!" There is no Satan.

What creature could oppose God's will? Nothing. Nothing can oppose God's will. Yes, we have free-will, but if God wanted something to happen, it most certainly would. Nothing can oppose God's will. Nothing.

From where did Satan come?

All of God’s works are perfect; he is not the author of unrighteousness; so he did not create anyone wicked. (Deut. 32:4; Ps. 5:4) The one who became Satan was originally a perfect spirit son of God. When saying that the Devil “did not stand fast in the truth,” Jesus indicated that at one time that one was “in the truth.” (John 8:44) But, as is true of all of God’s intelligent creatures, this spirit son was endowed with free will. He abused his freedom of choice, allowed feelings of self-importance to develop in his heart, began to crave worship that belonged only to God, and so enticed Adam and Eve to listen to him rather than obey God. Thus by his course of action he made himself Satan, which means “adversary.”—Jas. 1:14, 15; see also page 372, under the heading “

The idea for the whole issue is this. Although God knows "all things", this includes the general condition of the natural mind (a.k.a. "human nature") , as He created people. But; for God to only know this and not for humans to know this would defeat the whole purpose for His Plan for humans. Therefore, God allows the "fallen Achangel" - Satan to manipulate people, so that they can run along the course of this world and ultimately, come to a "crash", (this is why things are beginning to really heat up for the world currently). When presented with the opportunity to turn to God [Christ] and follow along in His ways, the elected person will choose to continue there in. This is why people suffer in the human experience; so, in the next life, he or she will enjoy the later experience. Satan, remember, rebelled and took 0ne-third of the angels [ fallen angels called "demons"] with him, and attempted to over-throw God in heaven. God, cast Satan and the demons down, to the earth and uses Satan and demons to promote and further His Plan to redeem mankind. People have to come to see their "human" or natural proclivity to gravitate to evil and sin when they live apart from a relationship with God in his or her life. Remember; although God allows Satan - the Devil to deceive us, God has our best interests in mind and will ultimately, work things out in His human creation's favour in the long run. All humans ever, created will get their "shot" at this relationship when Jesus Christ returns to this earth to start the conclusion of God's Plan. Satan will be placed in a state of "arrest", allowed to later, be set free to test the nations and will be again, stopped and cast into "outer darkness" permanently. - You can read all about this in the Book of Revelation of the Bible. We ALL WIN in the end !!!

Free choice means nothing if you don't have options to choose from. If god wanted us to buy that all the misery and pain we go through is because he wants us to have free choice... then he had to make it possible to choose the other side.

He made satan specifically to sin. There is no way around it. If it hadn't been Lucifer, then it would have been someone else. But god is still the one ultimately responsible. Since he is the creator of everything, then he created the possibility of misery, death, and hell. He didn't have to. He's omnipotent right? He could have EASILY created a different system, with the only person knowing the difference being himself.

But none of this makes sense. Which is why I abandoned Christianity years ago.

Of course God knew Satan would betray him. The problem is that everyone else didn't know it. God could have squashed Satan on the spot, but some of the lesser folks might have wondered if that was the right thing to do.

Now they do not.

The same thing goes for humans and Hell. He could toss you in there now and it would be no less just. You would just always wonder why and doubt yourself. But the way things work now, nobody who goes there wonders why. They KNOW.

No.
Satan had a free will like all the other angels.
No, God never deceive us, that is Satan's intention. You do not have to be bad to let Satan win.Just do not choose God, and Satan won you over.
He did not create us to lie either, but we do.Do not blame God for giving us a free will. The perfect love comes with a choice.
