You should talk to him and ask him why he is distant. you should always ask him whenever you don't know. IF he is being this way because you do not want to have sex with him then remind him that you do not feel you are ready and it is not because you do not like him but if he says you would have sex with him if you liked him then he is an immature jerk you do not need to be messing with. You need someone who is understanding, patient and cares more about being with you then shooting his load. Don't tell him that but do tell him you want to know why he has been acting the way he has and take it from there. Consider this a test of his worthiness. Don't ever let anyone pressure you into sex: you won't like it and it is a sign they don't care about you. Wait for as long as you want and as long as you can before you have sex. You can only have sex for the first time once. Be sure it is when you are ready, when you have found the right person and when it is the right time and place... and wear a condom when you do but not now since you are obviously not ready for sex so you shouldn't have it and whoever you are with should understand this.

I think he is pushing too hard on you, it should be a act that brings two together and not a pressure situation... you shouldn't be crying if he cares, right?
You may need to stand back and let the dust settle in this relationship..... many cultures if you commit this act then you loose face in that society, if that is the case then you have too much too loose....
