Jefe.

2007-03-07 17:48:27 · answer #1 · answered by Papilio paris 5 · 0 1

Literally translated it's "Jefe" ( a Spanish noun in masculine gender), so If you want to say "the chief" it's "el jefe".
"Jefe" also means "boss" in Spanish. It is pronounced as /hefe/, because "j" in Spanish sounds like the English "h".

Hope that helps!
Have a great day!
