hey there ,, first u have to download a certian software which check ur PC if it`ll work with Windows Vista or not sou have to visit microsoft site & download the program from this link

about what is good in vista ,, it`s more lighter than xp faster .. with more abilities & very good 3d interface

You can go to the Microsoft web site and download the Microsoft Vista Upgrade Adviser to see if your computer can use Microsoft Vista. I downloaded an upgrade to the Home Basic Version and I think I was better off with XP.

For best video experience, you will need at least 2 GB of RAM.
As to a graphics card, you'll probably want at least 128 MB, if not 256 MB. Remember, more is better...

You can find them out in Windows Update....If you want to use like for more than a year, my advice is go for the higher range...In the end you will save more on up-grade.
