If you're unable to find a suitable advertised internship, try creating your own. I'm in the process of doing so right now. First, find 4-6 companies that you'd like to intern with. Then research the companies finding out as much as possible about positions and what you can offer them. Send a letter to someone in human resources or management stating your interest in the company, how you'd like the opportunity to intern with them, your skills and abilities and what you have to offer. Be sure to send your resume also. There are many articles on how to go about doing this that give specific details so just type in "creating your own internship" in a search engine and go from there. Hopefully, you can grab the attention of @ least one of the companies.
