Where can I find plus size wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses in Illinios around the 62231 area code. I dont want a website because the bride wants to ACTUALLY try it on before buying, and we need a place where the bridesmaids dresses got up past a 4X, because one of the bridesmaids is pretty big and we are having trouble finding a dress that will fit her, the places are more than happy to sew in the extra fabric but its gonna cost an arm and a leg for the extra fabric. Please help.

We actually got the brides dress at David's Bridal and us girls wanted to get our there and yes the bride wants eveyone to look alike, the problem is David's Bridal only goes up to a size 28 and this girl needs at least a 34-36 and its gonna cost an extra $100 or 2 for the excess fabric to put in her dress.

Unless you are bent on having all your bridemaids be dressed alike, why not have them all go to a David's Bridal and pick out whatever dress suits them in the color you choose, that way you know that they will all look good and be comfortable in their dresses. I have been looking at Houseofbrides.com for my dress, and I know they have larger sizes but you can't try on the exact dress beforehand.

if there is a davids bridal shop in your area it would be your best choice nice selection and decent prices.congratulations and much happiness!
