Does it hurt when you get your belly button pierced.... cuz i want to get mine pierced when im 16. But how bad does it hurt?? is it worse than gettin your ears pierced??

It is a bit worse than getting your ears pierced but not much more. The pain from getting your belly button pierced stings just a little bit longer. Also, u have to be much more careful about bumping your belly button on things and forgetting it's there and bending down or something. It's just a lot more maintainence involved with the belly button than the ears.

Honestly, out of all my piercings I have (7) the belly button was one of the worst. However, it's not unbearable, the pain just lasts longer than your ears or nose.
Just be sure to get a professional to do it, and make sure they know what their doing.
Also, it's a good idea to wear lose clothing, because you don't want it to rub or tug on the new piercing.

First of all youre too young u'd have to go with your mother. But anyways i wouldn recommend it at your age. I got mine pierced at 19. IT didnt really heal very well so i took it out and the guy who pierced it did it crooked so i just removed it but i still have an ugly scar. Just wait till youre 18 whats the rush? Is it becasue your other little high school buddies are doing it? lol Dont do nothing to just fit it, do it cuz its in your heart and u feel like u really want it.

I just got mine peirced last April. It really isn't bad at all. You just have to NOT mess with it because it really does take a while to heal. The skin around the bellybutton is so soft and sentitive that it's very easy to get it dirty. Just make sure to wait awhile before you change the ring, if you are planning to. As for hurting though, it was tender for the first maybe 2 days. But after that it was totally fine. Good luck!!

It all depends but for the most part, yes it hurts. There are a lot of nerves in that area so there will be some pain. It also depends on your tolerance for pain as well.
Then again, people do it everyday so it must not hurt THAT bad. Just prepare yourself for the pain, take tylenol 2 hours before and you should be ok.

The piercing isn't bad, but when your boyfriend is doing the horizontal bop at top speed and it gets torn off, it's going to hurt like a motherf** and leave a huge, jagged scar.

no it doesnt hurt. what is everybody talking about!!! i have 11 piercings and that one hurt the least. your CARTILAGE hurts way more than your belly button. its just a quick pinch, like your lobes.

it depends on your level of pain intake, if your ears hurt really bad then this will hurt. it also depends on if he peirces it right, i.e. if he pierces a muscle it will hurt for a long time
