Does anyone else get really bad gas from Corn Chex? Why does this happen?

I'm not lactose intolerant. I eat all kinds of cereal (and other corn products) and eat all kinds of dairy products without any problem.

It is the fiber in the Corn Chex that is causing this. Reduce the amount and frequency of Corn Chex that you eat and you will notice immediate improvement.

If you really really like corn chex, you may be eating them too fast.

Chex also has a lot of air pockets from the design of the cereal pieces...they are like little pillow shapes. Try this and see what happens: pour yourself a regular amount of cereal into a zipper bag and smash it into small pieces. Then put it in a bowl and add the milk, etc and eat it. Did you still have gas?

Do you get gas from the other chex or from Crispix?

i'm guessing you are eating your corn chex with milk, and you may be lactose intolerant. milk is the only thing that could be giving you the gas (between the two). chex is not a gassy food!
