Do It in person sit down with her and tell her the truth In a nice way. And If possible tell her y'all can still be friends and that you'd still be there for her If she needed help or just needed to talk.

wow. About a month ago i finaly got out of the situation your still in. I was with a girl that was really sweet at first. But slowly we grew distant, and it was basicly the same as what u described. Cutting is a serious problem, and you cant handle alone. You really really need some profesinal help. the way i went about it was a disaster, and devestaded her untill this day. Its not going to be easy, she will cry and probly threaten you, and if she does you need to step up and find someone that can really help her. Just remember, be real and truthful and never blame yourself for someone elses own hamful inflictions upon themselves.

It is understandable that you do not want her to get hurt or hurt herself, but if you need to let her go then she is responsible for her own actions. You need to tell someone because that is a serious life threatening situation. She seems very emotional unstable and needs to feel loved..depression, probably. But, again, you need to help her..and helping her does not mean you have to be with her as a boyfriend. Try and get her some help ASAP. Good luck to you. But you should really let her go in the long run because that is no life for you, either.

if you mean she cuts as if she's emo, then just have excuses for her. just say you had to do a project, or a family gathering, or an appointment.
but just think about this, us guys are so caring and if it were the other way around, where the girl was trying to get out, she would have no problem just blowing you off. but this is only judging from the girls and relationships i have seen around my school.
but seriously dude, i wish it was like this sorta for me, (look at my question)

say that you don't want to hurt her but that she can't keep you because you dont really have the same feelings as you did for me i would keeep cutting if i were her but then tell her that she calls you a little over what she should be and that sometimes you want time to yourself and maybe she can find someone that is perfect for her

im sorry but there is no easy way to deal with this, you just
need to let her know how you feel. it will get much harder down the road if you dont let her know. but sound lilke she
need to get some help especally since it only been 6 months.
