It will look favorable for you if you get that fine taken care of and get your license reinstated prior to your court date. I always advise this of the people I have arrested for driving while license suspended. Most judges do not want to have your license suspended again after just having them reinstated. I cannot speak for the judges at the courthouse you are going to be visiting, but I have seen some change the charge on the citation to one that will not suspend you. The only thing is that you will still have to pay the same fine amount for the driving while license suspended.
Make sure you go in person to pay that fine. Get your receipt and head straight down to your license office to get your license reinstated. Otherwise, you may be looking at several weeks before being able to get this taken care of.

I swear I am giving away too many secrets on this site....
Quite honestly, if you came to me and said that you would have a valid license before your next hearing, I would cut you a break. As long as you did. This means that you would have to enter a not-guilty plea at your first court hearing and find a prosecutor to enter into such an arrangment with.
You would still have to pay a fine in the form of costs of prosecution (no, I don't get a cent of it), but it would NOT go on your record (which means that your license wouldn't be revoked/suspended --again).
If you driving record is a mess, however, don't expect any help from a prosecutor.
Good luck...

If you pay your fines and re-instatement and get your license back prior to your court date, the judge should be very lenient on you. The judges I deal with are. Remember, when the police write a ticket or the judge imposes a sentence, we are looking to get compliance with the law. If you show the judge you are compliant with the law it should help greatly.

Pay the ticket. You do not need to have the judge see that you have an outstanding fine that has not been paid.

Possibly, it is up to the judge. You will certainly look better for trying to take care of it in the eyes of the court.

It may help you by showing the judge that you are taking responsibility for your actions.
