My Rottweiler puppy needs a name! I've been looking online and talking to friends for suggestions, but I haven't found anything that really stands out. It's a male, so I'm trying to find "manly" names that aren't entirely stupid. I'm in law enforcement, so I thought that a name pertaining to something in my field would be cute, but again I can't think of anything. Any suggestions would be wonderful! I always appreciate help. Thanks alot!
No stupid or sarcastic answers, please. I don't have time for that, and neither does anyone else! :)

The puppy is a male, and I'm hoping to find an "authoritative" name, rather than a cute name.

He's also really wired and hyper, always wants to play or run around. Someome said I should look at his personality and see if something pops up...

Pistol, would be a nice name, or how about the name him K9_Cop, or Phazer. Think of something you use in your daily work maybe something. Will pop up for a good name. Bandit would also be a good name. Whats the pups attitude like some times by the attitude of the pup a name will pop out at you.

I like to name a dog after it's country of origin. My GSD name was Berlin :)
Is it male or female?
Law enforcement names (I may stink at this):
Badge
Honor
Chase (chasing the bad guy lol)
Justice
Ebony (in German means sleek black)
My rottie mix is Onyx
Are you looking for a "cute" name or "authoritive" name?
OH WOW.....I LOVE OUTLAW...CUTE.

Being that he is a Rottweiler and they originate from Germany, why not a German name?
Axel, Eiger, Eisbär, Falco, Günther, Klaus, Hektor, Joshka, or possibly Otto....just a thought.

Hope that helps..something to keep in mind when naming a dog, is they do better with two syllable words. One to get their attention, and another to let them know to pay attention. Good luck. Rotties are awesome!
