Why did we make the first mistake of recognizing any problems there by sending money? Once that happened, Africa focused in on our "emotional save the world groups" and attached a vacume to our non for profits and government in Washington attached a vacume hose to the USA and started the flow of money.

Actually, much of the "aid" the US Government gives out is via USAid, which gives Africans crops that were bought at the elevated US prices, shipped on highly expensive US cargo ships and when the crop gets there, they undermine the price of local farmers, in a society where as many as 90% of the population relies on agriculture as their main source of income. Also, "save the world groups" can sometimes use a lot of the donations for "administrative" purposes. Some are completely legit, but more are shady and attract the scum of the earth that like taking emotionally invested people's money.
