well we hung out like three times and then everyone knew i liked him and someone asked him and he said he didnt know he is not good at asking girls out because he used to like this girl and he didnt want to ask her out but he said he is over her and he hugs her and her friends and talks to her he comes behind me and talks to his friends and smiles at me it looks like at least then he looked pissed and i wanted t ry the friend thing first so my friend told him that i didnt like him like that anymore and just wanted to be friends when he was already sad or mad or whatever his emotion was and my friend told me he said that he didnt care and wasnt the one that liked me in the first place yet he flirted with me and i was wondering if he liked me or not be
cause i still do like him and i really feel bad

Alright the only thing i think you should do here is tell him that you like straight to his face because if you dont then hes going to forget about you thats what shy guys do they like a girl but until they find out that the girl likes them they view a relationship impossible one would suggest not lying and shooting for the friend thing but its risky because he could be a fast person who moves on, hopefully he hasnt and he respects your decision and answers you truthfully.

If you like him and he's shy, SHOW HIM. Don't tell him. Get up on him. It sounds like the eye contact is there. Get close, whisper in his ear....or depending on your age let his friend that talks to him all the time that you like him. Then move in!!
