Christians do not believe that homosexuals are born.We believe it is a work of the flesh,as are adultery, fornicators, pedophiles, bestiality, rapist. It is about pleasure of the flesh not caring about what God thinks.
I am sorry that many will get mad over this ,but it is the truth according to the Bible.

Among the things I would say, all of it supportive--I'd hope--I'd want to know why you think you'd be miserable. Not being married/partnered/whatever does not mean one must be miserable or lonely. If, say, you were that child, I would suggest that your faith isn't worth all that much if it doesn't bring you joy. From my own Christian perspective, Jesus is all I really need to be satisfied (see Philippians ch. 41-13). Beyond that, I could only feel for that person and their struggles and hope that their relationship with others, including the parents at a rather brave admission will not be damaged.
In short, I would never stop loving my child, regardless--but I don't think the biggest issue is the sexual orientation--it's the meaningfulness of the faith.

Pretty much the same as I would feel if my son came to me and told me that he wanted his best friend's wife and he had chosen not to act on that or that he wanted to steal the hope diamond and he had chosen not to act on that. Sin is sin and we must do everything in our power to turn away from it. In the long run, a clean conscience, a good standing with God and a chance to live forever are worth it--These guidelines have all been given for our benefit.

It sounds like you have made up your mind to do as is in your heart to do. Either do what is right or do what is wrong. It is your choice. I personally believe in what the word of God teaches is the right thing to do.We all have a choice to make either we are for Him or against him. I have three children, and no I wouldn't want them to be unhappy or lonely, but yes for the sake of their souls and because I truly love them so very much, I would rather tell them the truth and hope that they would make the right chioce and I would take my heart to the Lord Jesus on the part that he would help them to see the wrong in it, and I surpose I would rather them suffer the loneliness of it all than to see them be lost and thats hard to say.If they made their choice I would still love them always and forever; but just like all of us we have our choices to make. Hope this helps you. Its not religion to me its the word of God himself that has been tried in fire.

What you don't see is that when one decides and chooses to honor God, things don't go wrong. Instead, things work out for the better. They might get healed and experience a joyful life. Remember that God is never a debtor unto man.

im 21 years old and not a parent. but i believe being gay is a choice. not a pre-determined thing.
religion is STILL A RELIGION until you come to realise that God is real and the purpose He created you for. its not ur parents. it is FOR URSELF TO KNOW GOD ALL UR LIFE TILL YOU SEE HIM.
ur parents might have expectations of u, but these expectations might be distorted due to emotions etc.
look to God's perfect expectation. He can change you, only if you are willing. it will be a tough fight though, and it might take ur whole life, staying holy and committed to him. you dont have to become a priest. jus be part of a local church group and let them support and pray for u.
and knowing God would not be terrible. you will find freedom and courage to face up to your problems!

I would be proud of the fact that my child loves God enough to make this sacrifice in order not to offend Him. God should come first in our lives. We are to deny ourselves the things that cause us to sin. I would be very happy to know that my child, though unhappy in this life, will spend eternity happy with God in Heaven.
God bless,

That is not a belief in my religion, I would probably slap you and tell you to go find a good man. I don't believe in sin.
