This guy I've crushed on for 2 years(and we're great friends) somewhat rejected me the other day(my birthday), he wasn't mean or rude about it, but it still hurt. Now he's acting like nothing ever happened. I don't want to bring it up, but I wanted to clear the air.
So, I asked him to dinner on monday my bday as friends(i didn't really make that clear to him) I think he thought i was asking for a date. but he didnt really give me a chance to explain it. anyway, now things are back to how they were before. Is it right for me to bring it up again or should i let it go? For more info on this check out the other question...its the 1st one on my question list. Thanks, I'm just wondering... ;)

If i avoid him, hes going to think that I don't like him at all. I don't want to ruin our friendship.

If I were you, I'd let it go
I know that it will hurt and I'm really sorry to see you getting hurt, but the more you bring it up and push this, the more pain you'll cause yourself
Just be friends with the guy, and who knows? later on, he might have a crush on you

But as of now, just let it go. Be friends, act like friends so you don't suffer anymore.

I'm sure there is a great man waiting for you!! just gotta find the right timing ;)

hope everything works well for you
good luck!

lay low about the whole situation (keep friend status only).. i myself didnt want to loose a friend becuz he decided he had feelings for me,so i kept talkin to him as friends...which kept leading him on... we eventually stopped talkin becuz he couldnt handle just a friendship anymore.... but for u, i think this guy wants just ur friendship, and maybe u have to explain to him "hey, dont think i want to take anything 2 a different level than our friendship, but i just want to hang out". see what happends... but if u urself are giving your hopes up and hurting your feelings, u need to let the whole situation go. him included,it will be hard, but thats the best thing for u. trust!.....there are many guyz out there and many ull be crushing on,just dont waste ur time on some1 who doesnt feel the same way.

it's clear that he doesn't want to bring the issue back..your friendship means a lot to him that's why he hasn't change after he have learned about your feelings..he respects you..better not talk about the issue again..it may ruin your relationship..and you could loose him as your friend..
