Any liquid, tablet or colorless/odorless chemical that can be mixed with liquid to make it appear like boiling?

Mixture should not be harmful to skin or nose.

Readily accessible materials.

the one most commonly seen is using dry ice, but that can only be found at certain stores. also try solutions containing vinegar and adding baking soda. if they both have to be liquids, try mixing the baking soda in water, then adding vinegar. i dont know if it'll work or not.

You can make water boil under vacuum. It would be boiling but not burn you. But if you were under vacuum too, then you'd be in big trouble.

I guess if its a thin enough glass you can slip in some alka seltzer...
