My bride's maids dresses are a bright teal, aqua color, very summery.. which matches my wedding taking place in july.
this isn't the dress, but it's close to the color.

well.. i don't want an aqua wedding... or else i would have figured that out myself. i just want to know what colors look good with that color without being too flashy for a wedding. if i were fashionable i wouldn't have to ask.

a light pink would look sooo good with that color - summery and not too flashy.
a sunflower yellow would look nice too.
or even a rich chocolate brown

I think that a really dark brown brown would look amazing. My wedding colors are pink and brown. I absolutely love like the brown and like a different color together. I think the teal would be fabulous with brown. If you are going for a more modern look. If you want something more traditional I would say go with teal, white, and silver. Very classy.
These are my bridesmaid dresses. Just wanted to show. Maybe it might help. Good luck!

PINK! I dont know what your husband thinks about that, but they look really good together, i just made a cake for a wedding with those colors and it looked really nice. Also the cake was chocolate, so it was like brown, pink and the teal aqua color! it was really cute and summery

White is always going to match. You could actually use blue as well, since teal has hints of blue. If you want light, more girly colors, you could use a light pink or a light lavender. An orange or yellow could also work for a more bright, flashy look. Silver could also work well.

When you go to this site, hit the button that says "random base" until your group of colors show up. It will show you all the colors in that family that work together.

When you look at the colorwheel, usually colors directly opposite will compliment. Also if you make a triangle with your color being the top point, those colors compliment. You just have to find the right shade.

since you dont want to go with flashy why not offset it with white? Unless it is an evening wedding and then i would offset with black. you dont really need a lot of other color as this is a very strong color in and of itself. Simple is a very strong, classy, elegant statement and then you dont need to worry about matching other colors.

Well I would say if your looking for colors that would go with that, you could stay in the same color skeem, that would be that forms of green, blue or a combo of both, if not you could use light colors to go with the summery style which means going with pastels and such.

First, white will go much better with the teal than ivory or off-white, so if you don't have your dress yet, make sure you go with white.
For your additional colors, what about silver and lavender? I'm imagining bouquets of lavender and white flowers with silver ribbons, tuxedo vests with lavender or silver, centerpieces with lavender flowers, small silver vases, and teal and lavender accent ribbons.
Now I'm wishing I did this for my own wedding...

I would go with a nice neutral as my main and accents of the dress.
A good way to see if you like how things look together is to go to your local hardware store and get a paint swatch that matches your dress, then compare it to other paint swatches to see which combinations you like. That way you get to look at a huge variety of colors!
