Are you sure it is an error?

I think it's about time. I know Washington, Jefferson, and Franklin would be happy. Coins didn't say "In God We Trust" back then either, because the 1st amendment required a separation between church & state. Now it's more like "Hey, I'm going to SHOVE THIS IN YOUR FACE, non-believer!"

I'd like a coin that says "In factual reality we trust".

It's a sign that things in the world are getting worse and will continue for His story to go full circle. God is not a fool and is well aware of whats going on and allowing certain things to happen or not happen, since He is all sovereign.
Yes, I believe as a believer that we should not be afraid of Godlessness in america, but at the same time not live life sitting in the dugout. We are at 3rd base and waiting for the star of the movie to come to take us to Home base. And paradise will be restored as it originally was several thousand years ago. I will always TRUST GOD with my life and His destiny for me, no matter if the whole world turns their back on Him.

My question is do people really think the US will crumble over a few words left off of money? Especially since it wasn't on money for most of the history of this country?

Escpecially since Jefferson was a deist, Franklin was an atheist, Lincoln was an atheist, Grant and Jackson were just drunken bafoons(I still haven't figured out why they are on money?). So, I am sure it won't be the end all be all of the fall of society if 5 little words, as inaccurate and assumption they make, are removed from our money.

Now what will all the greasy spoons in America do with those funny little signs above their registers that read "In God We Trust, Everyone Else Pays Cash"

If you trust God, you can send all of your "in god we trust" money to me. God will work it all out for you.

Oh and I do believe Jesus said something about wealthy men having less of chance of getting into heaven than a camel through the eye of a needle. So God and money aren't friends anyway so you were probably pissing Him off too with that in God we trust ish.

I'm sure Jefferson and Adams would have hated "In God We Trust" to be on their coins. The mint needs to look closer at the men it's trying to honor here.

slight improvement. could be a little better though. Why don't you help the rest of us out?? Your pastor does not really need the money you give him, does he? Why don't you stop paying people like him and let them get a real job like everyone else??
