We don't, but that whole story matches the "men came first, women are off-shoots" and "there would be no evil in the world if a woman hadn't screwed it up for the rest of us" agenda that the religious people seem to have.

We don't know for a fact that Adam and Eve even existed -- at least in the traditional, christian sense. So we obviously can't know for a fact that they were designed by a creator ... especially when there is so much evidence to suggest otherwise.
Not "everyone all over the world" accepts that the sin of these two probably-made-up people is the cause of all the suffering and evil in the world. There are alot of people who have different ideas about sin, human nature, and the concept of evil. Therefore, it isn't "truth" to all of us.

No one knows for sure if God created Adam and Eve. Even the names are Amercanized form of however the real names were pronounced. You would have to study the Bible first to see if you can really have enough faith to believe in Genesis.

the story of adam and eve is part of the story of christianity. so, if you don't believe in god, you don't believe in christianity, and hence don't believe in adam and eve. as far as whether or not they were created by god, it's really the same thing. if you believe in the story of adam and eve, which actually some christians don't, then you believe they were created by god because you also believe and god and you believe that when god said he created them, he really did.

Where are we going?
As for your question, we don't know for a fact. There is a theory that there was more than one "Eve", and we are all descendants of them. So, there is that theory, and the theory that God created them. It all depends on what you believe.

we don't know for a fact that they were created by god. that is the mystery of religion. Even though there could be many other theories that could prove that they weren't created by god, your faith would guide you to believe that they were, and that is what makes you a religious person.

We don't know anything for a fact, that is the point of faith, believing in something that can never be fully substantiated!

We don't.
Indeed the majority of people in the world do not believe
that to be true.
Those that think it is so take it on faith.
