just wondering if you have a large tumor or trauma and they remove a large portion of the brain what do they put back in the empty space?

No, natural fluids fill in the space.

no, they do not fill the space with anything. usually when tumors are removed they are quite small, smaller than a cotton ball . The brain afapts to the missing space
