Ways To Force Open A Mouth?

Question

Conducting a survey, what do you think is the best way to make someone open their mouth to force something in?

a.) squeeze the cheeks, b) hold nose, c) tickle chin to force laughing reflex, d) pull lips apart with fingertips

For those who answer; what did you put in someone's mouth by methods above?

Hold the nose. I used to hate medicine (still do) and that's the only thing that worked on me, despite my overticklishness and stiff cheeks.
Plus I read it in Roald Dahl's the Witches =)

Locate the point at the rear of the cheek behind the last teeth, and between the upper and lower jaws.
Apply finger pressure to each side to force jaws apart.

The last time I did this the person was having a seizure, and I was inserting a bite stick.

Well, I'm actually not sure why you should be forcing something into someone's mouth. Unless its a child and you're trying to get medicine into them, this kind of behavior could be considered abusive. You didn't mention why you need this information and this gives me pause!

i had to force blood pressure medication into my paranoid mom's mouth a few weeks after she had a stroke.
