It would be a good idea to get those non-slip decals for the tub or shower.
And keep sick people away from them. A lot of elderly develop pneumonia and bronchitis easily.
Eating as healthy as possible.

I am a lot closer to 80 than I am to the age of most of the folks in here and I sure hope that I don't just quit when I turn 80. If you are talking about money, many of them not very well and our congress is going to make it a lot harder for them to survive. When they increase the minimum wage the economy will catch up quite fast like 2 to 3 months. Those receiving the minimum wage will end up no better off but the old folks and those on fixed incomes are screwed, the folks on minimum wages can do some thing about their situation but he old and disabled can't

Survive what? They have lived so long-the great depression, wwII, etc.. That is good. I knew a couple who the lady was 86, and the man 90-they got married, Such a cute newlywed couple! If the person you are talking about is a person who is busy, keeps the yard up, the house up, goes places, does things, that is really good! If they are in a nursing home, or, for that matter, where ever they are living, they are living because it's in their genes, and they respected their parents, and obeyed them too. Take care.

I don't know I wonder that myself...I kind of like the idea of the whole eskimo thing. You know, you ship the elderly out on an iceberg when they become a burden to the society. But that sounds really cold doesn't it. Oh well, sign me up for euthanasia.

Not sure, but I'll ask my grandfather, who is 91, drinks a beer or two a day, just put up new eaves on his house and golfs once a week.
