Condoms are not a 100% effective. Even if u buy it from the shops it could have a hole in it. I also know that if u don't put it on correctly (as the instructions) there are possibilities of leaking.

So always make sure that the girl has protection of her own (meaning birth control, morning after pill etc)

If you are using a condom correctly there is a low chance of it not working. Also if you are using it right, it shoulden't break. Just make sure you are using a good quailty condom, (not the kind they sell in bathrooms in gas stations. Also try one with spermicide for extra protection. If you are unsure how to use a condom, check it out online.

I think there have been cases of the condom having pin size holes in them. Is the person your are or are going to be having sex with old enough to get on the pill? I think there may Be a type of condom that kills the sperm, you'll have to ask someone else that, or maybe another person who reads this answer will know.

honestly condoms are only 89 percent effective,so pretty much the chances of pregnancy is possible if she isn`t using birth control and if your only using a condom I`d say your pretty much screwed, so be smart and use a second method, and also the condom breaking isn`t the only way for it not to work.buddy I`d say your totally screwed either way!!!!!!!!!!

read the box...
according to durex, the typical rate of pregnancy with a condom alone is 14% while the lowest expected rate of pregnancy is 3%.

Condoms aren't as effective as people think

Some percent. It's better to wear it than have a 100% change of getting her pregnant.
