Atheists have a very valid point that without concrete proof the scriptures could very easily be mythological or whatever. Why would God not present us with concrete proof?

He does in the Qur'an covering many scientific fields. This includes the developmental stage of a fetus, the creation of planets and stars and lots more. I was astounded when I came across this.

I admire the skepticism of many atheists it is the same skepticism that led me to Islam.

Contrary to these few replies, you make a valid point.

I too have struggled with my choice(s) of denominations. However, whenever I did, this quote from the bible "for their lack of knowledge, the people perish", motivated me, thus, I educated myself.

Out of modesty, I will refrain from going in depth about specifics unless you request that I do. Instead, I will share my personal opinion, since all of this IS merely someones' opinion.

I will admit that I take heart to both Islam and Christianity. The Qu'ran does indeed provide more concrete facts that can be traced in history, and it does give a more scientific explanation to support creation while maintaining the magnitude of Allah/God. What many Christians miunderstand is that Islam followers (Muslims) are not serving some other God. What's funny is that when they use the English term of God, in Arabic they are saying God. I was floored by this myself until my education reminded me the the english language derives from pieces of Latin, Hebrew, etc... Islam pays tribute to Jesus, but does not gives Jesus reverence as if he were God himself. They only command us to understand that God is sufficient enough to sustain us in everything, even our salvation. Islam tells us that the created being (Jesus) can not create anything of and in himself unless it be the will of God. Jesus did not create life, he gave it back BY THE WILL OF GOD. He raised the dead, by the will of God. He prayed for guidance. Think about it. Does God himself have to pray before commading a thing to be, or does He simply have to speak it? Jesus always gave all glory to God. He is the best!

As Islam builds and illustrates a strong foundation that can not be easily shaken, Christianity continuosly reminds us of Gods love and desire for us. It speaks to those of us that are in bondage by guilt or denial about our relationship or the type of relationship that we can have with God. So no matter what your walk in life may be, you can always return to God in repentance.

So to all my people, it doesn't matter what group you choose to worship with, God/Allah knows your intentions. Their will be Jew, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, and all kinds in the kingdom of heaven. Not because of who they prayed with, but because of their hearts intention, and the decisions they made in this confusing world.

As the bible portrays it, on the cross, Jesus cried, "Abba, Abba,(Father, Father)--the same God people!-- why have thou forsaken me?" Even in Jesus' last moments in the physical realm, he was touched briefly by doubt, although he was a place with God that we can only imagine, he still questioned, which is of itself - Doubt. On that note, there will always be that question for some of us who sincerly want to serve God with sincerity, so don't trouble your spirit with too much thinking.

Bottom line, it is my faith in God that sustains me. Faith. So I don't care who believes what because come judgment day the least of my concerns when I crawl before Him, will not be you, but my own tail!

To you be your beliefs, and to me be my own!

May peace be upon you!

Obviously you have never read Lee Strobel's books:
The Case for a Creator
The Case for Christ
The Case for Faith

If you read those books you would do a 180 on your
views on the Bible. I guess the Bible is hearsay
since eyewitnesses were involved in writing the Bible,
unlike the Qur'an.

Who says the Qur'an is the truth as well. Every religion says they are the right one and the book they follow is the truth. Maybe the guy who wrote the Qur'an had premonitions. None of it can be proved. If you want to believe the bible is the truth, or the Qur'an is the way to go, good for you. Believe what you want.

I have scrutinized the alleged scientific proofs in the Qur'an; without exception, they are baloney. No one skilled in science would credit a single one of them. The Qur'an has errors, one so significant that it is the bane of every modern Islamic society. Bottom line: you need to recover your skepticism, it is indeed a terrible thing to have lost it.

i have heard of the developmental stage of a fetus talks in the quran and from what i have seen its definitely more impressive then all the oogie-boogie stuff in the bible.

I dont think i am gonna call it concrete proof, but its definitely got one up on the christian bible in that regards as far as credibility.

God/Allah hasn't proven anything in Islam, either.

The "scientific proofs" have nothing to do with God. They are phenomena of the natural world.
