We're getting all of our documentation ready to send to our tax person and we're trying to remember if fees for sports for the kids are write-offs?

No. For the most part, any "fee" is going to be non-deductible.

If you are a business sponsoring a sports team, then it probably is, as advertising. If you're talking about sports fees for your kids, then no.
