Welcome to the world of adulthood! Time to pay taxes. Everyone pay what they owe or file a return for their refund.
Visit the IRS website or call them to find out what applies to you. Chances are you make more than the amount you can claim to deduct for yourself. For single, unmarried folks, the standard deduction is in the neighborhood of $7500-$8000. Check the website for details. There are a massive number of forms, none of which anyone can keep straight off the top of their head, but the IRS has a form that applies to everyone.
Also, you might want to consider going to college at your age. A college financial aid office will want records of the kind of returns you've been filing, even if it's the Non-Filer Affidavit.
NEVER advise anyone to ignore their tax obligation! Last time I checked, tax evasion was still a crime.

Paid under the table is breaking the law. You need to report the income on a schedule C to get back legal.

The reality of the situation is you are not putting anything into SS or medicare. This could be bad for you later in life. You should be filling out a 1099 as being self employed and file on your earnings. you will owe a penalty of 15% on your gross wages so be prepared to pay it.

you would probably be considered an employee so your employer should withhold all the required taxes. otherwise you are self employed and must file if your income is $400 or more. you owe self employment tax, and should have made quarterly estimated fed tax payments. get OVER the table.

i used to get paid under the table too and i didn't pay taxes. also if you live in Canada if you make less then like... 8000-something a year you don't have to pay taxes either, you still have to do them if you get a T4 but you don't owe them money.

Nope, you don't have to pay taxes if the government doesn't know that you are getting paid. Just keep it on the DL or you could have some serious issue though.

I work for the I.R.S. I have asked yahoo for your I.P. address. We will be contacting you very very soon. It is a Federal Offense to tax evade. This is a very serious crime. It would be wise of you to turn yourself in. Your punishment will be less if you come forward, before I get to your door. Have a wonderful day.
