It all depends... either you would have been charged with assaulting a superior and dishonorably discharged or, and this is more likely what they would have done, they would have kicked your butt.
Btw, I am female and was in the Army... I've seen women get hit also. I even saw a drill Sargent kick a girl in the back once yelling that she was taking too long to get on the cattle truck that transported us to the range.

That was a different time, hecknow you cant even get close enough to spit on a cherry when you talk or they might whine to someone.
If you could take the drill seargent and he was a prick, he could have brought you up on charges.
But I would think most them drill seargents back then were tough as nails - But I would think he woul HAVE to bring you up on charges or else how would it appear to the other recruits.
Probably would have fought you tooth and nail, until you killed him or incapacitated him -- whereas a few of the other drill seargents would have broken it up before it reachesd that point.
Every tough guy thinks they can take on their drill seargents -- not too many can.
I wonder how you would have faired against him.
Might have shoved your nuts all the way down your throat.
P.S. holding a grudge after 27 years. Thats funny

Are you a man a or a whimpering little coward, grow up son!
Obviously you needed your jaw jacked if a d.i. felt it necessary to single you out, and for god's sake it's good training. Our boys freaking die out there every god forsaken day and your complaining about what? Get your squirrel stinkin' butt over in Iraq and serve your god and country, let your miserable life stand for something other then bitchin' like a little girl...

You will be branded as a backfighter and all the senior Marines will do anything to weed you out of the service by reporting your irregularities and simple mistakes.

What battalion /company were you in and where did you go?
Fact is, if you don't know, you weren't there. I am thinking 4th BN.
