My girlfriend is jealous over her ex's new girlfriend because she feels that his new girlfriend is prettier than her. Does this mean she still has feeling for him or is it just a woman thing.

She said that she wants to be with me over him without any hesitation. I just don't understand why she cares what this girl looks like.

You have answered your own question....smile...it's a little bit of both. Women have a tendency to compare themselves to the 'other woman'. If she was 'ugly' then you'd not be hearing anything about this...but since the girl is attractive, your girlfriend is feeling a little 'undone' - perhaps thinking that because she was not the "icing' on the cake is why she lost this guy. It might also mean that she has not COMPLETELY gotton over him. If I were you, I'd just observe things for a minute. Don't say much -just pay attention. If you are really into this girl, talk to her and see where her head really is. If the past breakup didn't have enough time between new loves - time for your friend to 'get over' the old love - you mght be in a 'rebound rut'. Watch and pray.

She definitely still has feelings for her ex. It might not be to the point where she'll dump you, or you should dump her, but if shes mad about the looks of the ex's gf then its pretty obvious. Most girls still have a little feelings left over, and some guys have feelings left over as well. Give her some time, shell get over it , dont worry

Hmmm...this is a hard one. I think with women, its sort of a *competition*-thing. My bf recently told me of a girl he went out on one date with-then completely griped over this girls fiance because this guy is apparently a big A&&. I couldn't understand WHY he still had all this resentment towards this guy...unless the guy personally did him wrong (which he didnt really) OR he was still interested in this girl-although it was only 1 date they went on-despite the fact that we are in a serious relationship. Maybe it is the same with guys...competition-WHO can get the girl-thing. Or what does he/she have that I dont. But with girls, they always size each other up...who has the prettier car, clothes, ring, bags and shoes...I dont think she has feelings for his still.

Although she may be jealous that this girl is prettier than her, it also means that she still has feelings for the ex. Otherwise, it wouldn't bother her for her to see him with another chick, awkward maybe but not jealous. I mean she's got you, why would she need to be jealous? But like I said, yeah, she has to have feelings for the guy.

Woman thing, most likely. Girls can be super self-conscious, to the point of stupidity. That's probably what's happening to her. She doesn't like Mr. Ex anymore, but she's annoyed because she has somehow convinced herself he found someone better, especially better looking. Every girl wants to think SHE'S the best looking, not some rebound chick!

Its not just a woman thing shes still hung up on her ex. What you need to do is say " Its either me or him"
And if she hesitates or gets angry dont bother with her mate. Just move on you deserve better.
Sorry to say it like that, but if she was into you she wouldnt even bother about her ex's new girlfriend, but she does so....she still has feelings for him thats all there is to it.

i can tell u right now its not a women thing, people separate and divorce all the time,deal with new spouses and can careless about the new ones,because they moved on in their lives. seeing some1 they used to have a relationship with should not effect thier feelings emotionally unless they arent stable and happy in thier own relationship. she might deny the fact that she hasnt let go,give it time... maybe her seein the new girlfriend is good for your relationship.
