Someone suggested a cemetary and I just wanted to expand on that. You don't have to have the ceremony where the actual graves are (although you probably could). Some cemetaries have really beautiful chapels that you can look at. For example, if you're in the Los Angeles area, I'd go to Rose Hills. The SkyRose chapel is gorgeous and has a great view.

Do it in New Orleans! You can actually get a gothic wedding package there and it's a great city for it. Here's a great site for gothic wedding gowns. http://home.att.net/~design-house/american_gothic_wedding_gowns.htm
You can go classic with black and red...or I've seen lovely color schemes with black and purple. People also forget that classic goths loved pure white, especially as a contrast color, such as flowers. If you still want to retain gothic overtones and yet also have a bit of a classic wedding, you can do the colors in white and scarlet. Jeanie Nitro has some lovely gothic styled gowns in white. http://www.leatherworks.com/weddingdress.htm I also personally love Gypsy Moon http://www.gypsymoon.com/
Have the men in poet shirts. I LOVE that look. Do the ceremony at night and use LOTS of candles. You can light up the brides walk to the altar. The venue is going to be all important. I'd choose an old cathedral or historic church. You want the "feel".
I SO wanted a gothic wedding back in my day. Unfortunately we settled for a trip to the courthouse. I hope yours goes off well.
