My boyfriend and I have been together four almost fou years now and living together for two. Just last week things all went down hill. He said that our relatioship just wasn't the same. He still loves me but he's not happy...he said he needed a break, feels like he needs change....so he's staying at his sisters now....and he;s got 1 week to figure out what he wants....I've been talkign to his sister and she said that he said it's very different living without me, but he feels like it just right for now....apparently he was seriously considering asking me to marry him and I think he might have scared himself...I just can't stop asking if he'll come back to me....what should I do? Do I just give him complete space?

Dont worry, he got scared.

Worry, he got scared because he wants to make sure there isnt anything better out there.

You cant force someone to love you, if you love him you'll take him back.

Unless he starts banging chicks left and right, then of course you should think about moving on.

But it sounds to me like he met someone that makes him happier than you do. The only thing is, the chick doesnt want him back, shes flirting with him but not giving him a real answer of yes or no. So hes chasing the cat, but trying to make you wait until he gets a real answer out of the chick. If shes says yes, then you can kiss yourself goodbye. If shes says no, then youre going to be a married woman in a fake love.

I hate to say this, but they call it a break up because it's broken. Being in love isn't supposed to be so hard. If he said he needs a change, and that change necessitates his leaving you, that means he needs something that doesn't include YOU. I'm being very blunt here because I don't want you wasting any more of your time waiting for him. The relationship has already disintegrated into something that you won't even recognize, even if he DOES come back.

what on earth do you mean - do you give him complete space?
girl, you pack his bags and put them outside the door!
after this many years he needs a break?
what the hell is he gonna be like if you do marry him?
go on a 'break' every few years?
come on girl, think about it, you don't need that kind of put down! or disrespect! you aren't a piece of furniture he can put into storage whenever the urge hits!
and as for 'he got scared'...liar.....he is out shopping girlfriend!
and you need to worry about what he might bring home with him, if you get my drift, there are all kinds of nasty s.t.d.s out there!
girl, you have a good cry, eat a bucket of ice cream and throw his sorry butt out the door!
sorry, i just don't believe in the 'i need a break' routine.

After age 18, do not invest more than 2 - 3 yrs. in a relationship
without marriage. Never have kids out of wedlock. Always get
a good Pre-nup to protect both man & wife in event of death or divorce...
Sounds to me like your b/f is gone..
Best way to mend a broken heart is with a new love..
Start looking for a new man...
Your b/f has a new woman...
