Just dont give up! Be persistant. You are doing a good thing in making the posters. Have you made little brochures (or pamphlets)
Maybe you can make some with photographs or Bible text- announcing what will happen in these meetings, what you will talk about, etc...
make them fun and interesting and hand them out to people. Make them like little mini books so that people can put them in their backpacks, purses or pockets. Advertise more and keep it up.

Not everybody needs a group or a church to be an active christian. Jesus himself said not to put one stone upon another to create a house for him. They can easily be devout christians and have no wish to attend your group. Maybe they don't like the interpretations of the religious text your group has, or something. As a christian yourself, you're probably best not judging them for not having time to do what makes you closer to your god. They may be too busy worshipping him in their own way.

It takes asking and asking them over and over.
what things are there to do at your youth group? promote the positive things... like, we have a youth band that rocks some great contemp Christian music... and that draws kids to come hang out... we have speakers every other week... we do fun events/lock ins/concerts/rally's.. they bring kids in too... sometimes, just offering food for one nite brings in a couple kids (specially teen boys.. they love to eat) just a few ideas.. good luck.. keep the faith and stand strong.. it is tough to be a kid of Faith in the schools in this time and age!

My youth group has a "theme" night once every couple months exactly for that purpose. They don't talk a Ton about Christ, but they do a bunch of games n stuff so people will come back, but when they do...they learn about Christ.

Just be persistent and do not quit. Everything good takes time. When you get some people, ask them to bring a friend or too.
Pray about it. God will help you. : )

tell them that you are going to announce the biggest secret in the world...
when they get there, tell them that the record that God gave his Son is the record that they have eternal life (1 Jn 5). Death is just a doorway...to life. No need to fear death anymore. God holds nothing against us.

Put up signs talking about how you all participate in massive group activities that include nakedness, chocolate syrup, and spiritual satisfaction. You will be looking for a larger place to hold your meetings in no time.
Best of luck!!

Perhaps you shouldn't be doing this at school. Advertise it at your church. If people say no, then just accept that and move on.

If people don't want to join your group, then why try to convince them?
