Should I date an ex's friend?

I only dated "J" for a few weeks and it never got sexual. Now "M" has been calling me and wants to go out this weekend!! What do I do I just broke up with "J" last weekend. I have feelings for "M" thats why I called it off with "J" but it just doesn't feel right. They aren't that good of friends but it's the fact that they are friends that is bothering me. HELP
