I know it’s stupid to be asking but I was just curious. We were both each others first loves and we broke up about two months ago. We mainly broke up because he didn’t want to be with me anymore and I was going through a small sort of depression that he didn’t know about. We were together for about four months. He no longer talks or looks at me even though I see him every day. We have the same friends and they said he hasn’t talked about me since we broke up. You can tell me that there is no hope and that I’m a loser for hanging on if that’s what you think. I just wanted some ideas. And maybe some advice on how I should get over him if there is no hope. I know if we do get back together it will be his decision and I can’t do anything to affect it. I know bringing up the past relationship right now would be a bad idea.

I have done nothing but tried to be his friend, in a normal way, for the past month. I’ll occasionally say hi to him or ask him a question but that’s about it. Especially because he normally doesn’t respond. Also he doesn’t go to the same school clubs we use to go to unless he knows I’m not going to be there. I don’t know if that’s just a coincidence or what… but yeah.

Honestly you sound like a really good girl friend and I'll bet any guy would love a chance taking you out. It's hard to break up and it's never easy to move on. Try to keep it decent with him but really find a guy who will respect, honor and truly adore you. Don't ever settle. I hope you can get over him cause he's just not worth it. You can do better. Aww...I have gone through the same experiences as you. All you can do, is try to be his friend. Say hi everytime you see him. Don't push it, don't bring up your relationship around him or any of his friends. You guys are probably better off just friends anyways, think of it that way. It kind of seems like he is being a bad sport about it and is just ignoring you. I have also had that experience, but after a while me and the guy started talking again, and we are great friends now. Right now, all you can really do is be nice and not try and make it seem like you want to get back together. If you guys are meant for each other, it will slowly just happen. I hope it works out for you two.
