If all the world's calamities can be blamed on Satan?

why don't we just worship the Dark Lord himself?

God seems either unable or unwilling to intervene against Satan.

Maybe Lucifer is just pissed that so few worship Him!?

Most "calamities" can be blamed on the evil that rests in our own hearts, Brendan. Humanity's evil. No single raindrop ever blamed itself for the flood, eh?

Maybe the "dark lord" is God, it would explain the evil done by the OT god (which christians turn a blind eye to while trying to act morally superior).
