I have a daily prescription for Strattera and Lotrel, and am moving to Canada in two weeks.

Will my prescriptions, prescribed in the US, be usable in Canada... if not.... Can my parents fill the prescriptions here and then mail them to me at P.O. Box in Seattle - not across the border. (i'm not having my mail rerouted to Canada)

Canadian pharmacies do not honour prescriptions by physicians not licensed to practice medicine in Canada.

You may be able to find a Canadian physician who is willing to re-write the prescriptions for you. You would have to pay for an office visit, unless you are covered under your province's medical insurance plan.

Your prescription should be fine in Canada. You can talk to your doctor about it.Have fun in Canada :)
