Okay guys, its not often I actually laugh out loud but the question and then the *gasp* was enough to get me. I like that, I get the picture of Adam from the Mythbusters pouring stuff together and then, BANG and he's gone.

An interesting theory that can sadly never be proven or disproven.
The problem, of course, is that such an occurrence would indicate that God was a part of the natural world.
And if God were natural, doesn't that by definition, make him/her/it not God?

"I thought I had left the question of the existence of a Supreme Being completely open (in my article). It would be perfectly consistent with all we know to say that there was a Being who was responsible for the laws of physics". Stephen Hawking....American Scientist, 73, (1985).

Revelations 1:8
"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."

Jehovah had a jetpack, maybe he was able to get far enough away to a place where he could stand and continue his will.
