I want the most versatile hair cut possible. One that can be worn up, down, braided or whatever. What is a good useful style?

shoulder length or longer hair with large layers, you can straighten your hair, flip the ends out or slightly under, curl the ends, pull up, braid, twist in a bun held in place with pencils but have pretty wispy pieces that hang out.
o, and bangs only if you really need them but otherwise, a pain the the butt.
/needs bangs
//big forehead

long or medium long with not very pronounced layers... like layers that are only about 2 inches shorter than the rest of the hair...

If your hair is long then have it cut in long layers then you can wear it any way that you want to.
