Sure.. in fact, that's a normal state of communication between humans and the Divine mind, when we're in what some call a state of grace.
We each have three minds, the subconscious mind, the conscious mind, and the superconscious mind. The superconscious mind is in continual communication with what some call "God". Many people block out this communication with the superconscious mind, and for them life is dull and meaningless. But this is not our natural state; our natural state is to be in communication with the source of what another answerer has well called Inspiration. It is our birthright as conscious human beings.

Mental e-mails? If you believe that new revelation over and above the scripture comes into your head on a regular basis, you may want to read Rev. 22:18 again.

No, God has not communicated with me like that. I have two very different experiences, what you describe is closer to the way I feel Christ communicates with me and I with Him.

NO!
For a very simple reason. God is a man made delusion!
Those that think God is talking to them are just plain CRAZY!
They need to get back on their meds!
