Okay, so I'm a really nice guy with some very good qualities, and i like this girl alot, as usual. But i'm just friends with her and for some reason I believe she only wants to be my friend and nothing more. Now I really like her but I want to be more than friends with her. So besides just asking her out, how can I get the girl i like to notice me as a potential boyfriend who is really kind, generous, and respectful and instead as her good friend. I like her as a friend and I wouldn't mind just being a friend, but it's just that i want her to notice me as a great candidate for an excellent boyfriend. Can anyone help me? (serious answers please) Much help is appreciated.

Hmmm, this is a good one.

I have been in this situation before though. Sometimes what separates you from the rest of the idiots out there is unconditional love and caring-- a constant non-judgemental attitude, and basically keeping the friendship going even when the going gets rough. Because when the sh*t hits the fan for her-- with family problems, when she gets dumped by her idiot boyfriend, you might be the only one left standing by her. And that goes a long way!!

Now you can keep that up as long as you can stand it...and when you cant stand it anymore, I think it may be time to lay it all on the line and tell her how you feel, and ask her if she ever felt the same way. Either that conversation will go well, or she will blow you off.

If you get blown off, its time to move along my friend!! I hate to say it.

wow, you sound like a winner...i have two possible scenarios of how this situation could be resolved. the first involves you becoming more proactive to let her know your true intentions.. ask her out and try to find out her personal interests and passions...if you get vague answers, then it's possible that she is too shy to demonstrate her interest in you..so you would need to bluntly state your desire. it could be potentially uncomfortable, but i believe that it would be more difficult not knowing whether a relationship was possible at all. the other scenario would occur if she didn't seem to be very eager to go on the date with you...if she acts apathetic or not very energetic, she's probably not that into you (to steal that guy's line lol). the only way that you're going to 'win' is by taking a big risk and seeing where the chips fall...go for it...the worst thing that could happen is that you increase your own confidence & willingness to express your self romantically which is an accomplishment that most pple can't even claim. good luck buddy

You seem so nice! Honestly, keep on doing what you're doing. Any girl would like to have someone like you. I'd say keep on being her friend just as you are now, but (if you're not already) try to flirt. Make little efforts to touch her arm when you're laughing at a joke she said and make it an obvious point that you try to talk to her when she's by herself. I know this one's cliche, but if she drops her pen, pick it up for her. That's sort of the ultimate flirting move, probably invented in about 234 B.C., and it definitely will make her realize that you like her more than a friend.

Good luck!

Getting her notice is not difficult but getting her to think that yr r her potential bf needs more juice then just saying.
Depending of what u got and what u can do for her and whether you're the type of bf she's looking for!
Do some homework first, it may end up that she may not be yr potential gf instead! Cheers :-)

Flowers are good. Very good. And they don't have to be fancy/splashy either. Back in the day, I impressed more than one graduate student with some carnations, stuck in a beer bottle as a vase.

Most young women haven't gotten flowers often, and many respond to them extremely well. Yet, they can be a gesture from a friend as well as from a romantic partner.

All you can do is talk to her and ask her out and see how it goes. You cannot make her like you if she doesn't so go for it and take a chance. Remember she might say no but no guts no glory and no girl

Try talking to her about what she wants when she is dating a guy...And then you should just ask her out...if she says no oh well...she may change her mind.
