From my experience it all depends on the person and how serious of a drinker or how serious of a non-drinker it is. It also depends on the reason the drinker drinks and why the non-drinker doesn't drink. Some people drink to remember, some drink to forget, some drink to become sluts, some drink to open up, but with a non-drinker, I'd assume they'd just like to see some discipline in the drinker with knowing where their limit is. A non-drinker will not like a drunk if they think drinking is a sign of weakness and displays sloppiness. It shows an unorderly life. A non-drinker may just not drink for health reasons or a combo of both. So, again, it's all a matter of the reasons they chose their path.

I've never dated anyone who didn't like to drink at least a little but I'm sure it is possible. It would just be sort of awkward in certain social situations. If you have a lot of friends who are drinkers they will probably think your significant other is lame because he/she doesn't drink and things could get a little awkward in that way if your all out together socially.
