i know how you feel. I don't usaly wear make up but you would be surprised how good it would make you feel to put on some make up and find a way to style your hair then go out to the store and strut your stuff. LOL i have not been on a date without my son for well over a year so i can understand that. Mybey one day every three months hire a babysitter and go to the movies (that is what i do i save 10$ a week so i can do this)

Boy do I get where you are. Try swapping time with a GF in the same spot just an hour or 2 to take a real bubble bath and pamper yourself or when you take the kids to the park sit near by and read - no harm in you relaxing if they are within eye and earshot again go with a buddy and take turns being "on guard" if they are under 5. Try registering at the local YMCA for a supervised gym for the whole family including after school care and they have scholarships - they also have 1 night a month for parents to drop off the kids and take the night off from 6-10 enough time for a quite meal and a movie or even a massage if you can find a late night spa (try a local Marriott). You don't need a lot of $ just the determination to take care of you too. try joining a Mommy and me group or a Reading Rainbow at the library to meet other parents you are not alone. Good Luck!

Hey I"m a new mom and also a cosmetologist. I think that alot of times we as woman lose who we are in the day to day things that have to be done. You have to just find me time where ever you can i spend time thinking and clearing my head on my commute to and from work. I take that time to listen to whatever I want to listen to or nothing at all. Also egg whites and oatmeal are great at home facials that you can try they really tighten the skin and make u feel refreshed.

Try doing something you like...like for example do you like painting? then paint! or if you like to design go online and find a designing game...go onto www.google.com and search a game and you can find something entertaining to do! Usually when I'm depressed I listen to my favorite music! Also working out makes me feel better try that!

Take your normal conditioner and put it in your hair. Wrap your hair in clear plastic wrap. Warm it up with a blow dryer and let it cool, then rinse it out. It makes your hair feel wonderful, and the warmth is really relaxing. I also enjoy giving myself little pedicures. Just soaking my feet in nice warm water and putting on some scented lotion feels great!!

If you google homemade facials you will find a ton of stuff, we just did that because my daughters and I wanted to have a girls night, but I didn't want to use harsh chemicals on their soft skin.

are really well done. Similar things are up for hair, I've done the conditioner thing, just lather it in, and wrap it up in a towel, while we use our homemade facials, lounging in soft pj's, it's the ultimate in refreshments! You could also use large tupperware bowls with hot water and baby oil, to soak your feet, scrub with sugar or salt crystals for exfoliation, it feels so nice!

I also like walking around the block, getting out into the sunshine with a glass of water makes me feel healthy and clean all over, no matter how my day has been!
