"The Constitution was written by liberals". This is true if by liberal you mean people like Alexander Hamilton who practically singled handed created the philosophical underpinning of modern American capitalism. But than again today you would consider him a radical "right-winger".
O maybe you were referring to that hypocritical slave raping debtor Jefferson, now was is a liberal, but then again in light of history Hamilton was right and Jefferson was pretty much wrong about everything. Unless of course you think that tilling you 1 acre of land and being an unindustrialized and 3ed world-ish is the future. PS If you do you must be an "environmentalist"=Communist who doesn't give a care about the trees.
As for 80% of Americans being "Christians" your delusional maybe 5% 10% tops. Go stand on a corner and do a litter survey for your self. Hell even Sean Hanity gets pissy when talking to a "real" Christian.
PS
You can't be born or baptized into "Christianity" unwittingly.
I was baptized at under a year old by my Catholic Family. That made me wet, it might have made me clean, it surly didn't make me a Christian! But that's the kind of "Christians" we have in the US and the most religious of these kinds of people are the most anti-Christian people you will ever meet. They denied the power of Christ's cross and atonement and teach men that by good deeds they must save themselves, when Christ himself said that "there is salvation in no other" and again "no man cometh to the Father but through me". These more than the atheists are the enemies of God and of his saints. If you were a Christian in spirit and in truth you would understand and love my words for they are His words but you hate Him and so you hate my words aswell.
Ps: Seven Hills of Rome>>the 7 continants. In truth The Americas are one continant and Eurasia is one continant so your down to five nice try but you will be judged for wresting with his words and for mistranslating and using his words out of contest for your own agenda. I'm too tired to spell check!!!!!!!!! Good night people and God Bless!!

Allow me to give you my view on this matter only after I answer you alright. Now when in history or show me some history where America has ever had spirituality????~!!!!!
allow me to take you back and bring you to the present with the American history - Showing few leaders an Activist has died to save the many wronged in America. The government was a part of the klu klux Klan! slavery, prejudice, class rates middle low upper now that right there means to be judged not only by nationality but also by the money which judges your worth as a human being, the whole structure of America! America do you this nation not understand that one day in the future it must return and give power over to the Indian of there continent also deal with the slavery issue of the Africans here or there shall and will be an up rise of the "NOW" majority population here also from other continents whom shall soon will right the wrong done by so many other continents! Now china do own America if you look at things the proper way the ones here before the barbarians intruded the northern continent are of the China decedents also imagine the Indian
and the African continent seeking justice to what was done to there people! and now the middle east just look at how shameful the past of the USA has acted and continue to act. History shows that all of these nations continent and people shall become allies and plot for revenge! look at history when the a people was mistreated for 100's of years they mistreated has always took the steps to recify the wrong done them! So I asked you when did america have any spiritualtiy huh?

Oh stop it.

Christians are hated? Yeah I see that, considering they make up 80% percent of the population. Read that damn writing on the wall before spouting off nonsense like this.

Secondly, "drug addiction" is an impossible thing to measure and accurately define, so your statistic is automatically bullsh*t.

Those two points having been made, I agree with your basic premise. But you know what they say, "every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end". But I dont think America ever had spirituality as a nation. We've had religion, but not spirituality. So somethings dying, that leaves plenty of room for new spiritualities to be born.

Keep the silver linings in mind.

You seem like you've made up your mind. Further more most don't hate Christians. Ignorance in Christ's name. Now that is righteously hated. We are better than ever in allot of ways. Work needs to be done in other areas.
As for China. Fortunes have always been collected and redistributed. What is America's (U.S.) was once Europe's. What may be China's will one day be Africa's. Let's hope whoever has it shares it.
Drugs? What's different than any other time in history?

Sexual perversion? Do you mean homo's? I know you don't.

Justice is often absent. But I'll take my perverted self and work for it.

Oddly enough this is the most Christian nation in the known universe. No country in the world can claim as many Christians as we can. If the world is so horrid possibly you need to leave - I hope your opinions follow. I have a beautiful daughter and a wonderful godless life. I am happy to be alive and a loving person - I serve others. Without delusion I work daily to fix what is broken. I put myself above no one. When we look at non-religious nations they are much better off than we in the USA are. Unlike the christian I do not look for what is wrong in the world in attempt to justify the fals coming of a made up individual - Jesus. I promote love, happiness, peace. I live the best I can and teach my children the same. I do not expect a perfect utopia or demand such a place. I do not expect an invisible being to fix my problems. I work with other humans to make the short human experience more workable.

Why do you Christians do that? You act like you have the only answers to everything and treat everyone else like dirt. And you wonder why you're "hated".

Christians have far far too much power in the United States. No other country has the problems with religion that you guys do. Every other country in the world has realized that religion needs to stay separate from politics but the United States.

See, Canada has legalized gay marriage and our nation didn't fall apart. Yet you people think it will. We also have legal abortions, and here's a shocker, our nation didn't fall apart. Yet you people think it will.

See, we realized that religion has no business in politics. None. Yet we have fewer problems, a lower crime rate, and our national debt is almost paid off while you guys keep going further and further billions (possibly trillions) of dollars into debt funding a religious war in a country you have no business being in that you created when your president (whom you allowed to do it) lied to support his own personal crusade.

Honestly... think a little.

Religion has no business in politics. If you'd keep it separate, you'd have fewer problems. Everyone else does.

Almost sounded like the birth of Christianity, minus the debt to China. Maybe you should study a little roman history before you become all end of the world. The names and the places change, but the world endlessly remains unchanged.

I LOVE this country.
America is spiritually done.
In debt to China...who are you kidding.
That's like being indebted to someone on welfare.
Beyond comprehension.
We are done.
Sad part is...the people don't see the handwriting on the wall.

No, there are still plenty of God loving people in America. Even when we go through tribulation, it is not without reason. It draws us closer to God. When you feel like you hit rock bottom, and your in a hole you can't climb out of, the only place to look to is up.

Early Christians went through life-threatening situations too, and 2000 years later - we are still here.
