First of all...YOU ARE NOT FAT....but if you insist on losing wieght, at least do it healthy.

***
1) Stay away from a lot of sugar and sodium.
2)Eat mainly fresh fruits and veggies. Plus limited lean meats (tuna, turkey, chicken).
3)Before eating a meal, eat your salad first.
4)Eat slowly, it takes our bodies around 30 minutes to know that its full
5)Drink 8 glasses of water each day.

Jump rope it burns 90 calories every five minutes.

-Junk food is my weakness, I just don't buy it so that I am not tempted. Its ok to have small portions of -not so healthy- foods occasionally.

Well, whether or not you're fat depends on how tall you are. If you are two feet tall, then chances are you look a bit portly. However, as I doubt this is the case...it just depends.

Also... muscle is more dense than fat. One pound worth of fat takes up the same amount of space as five pounds worth of muscle. This means that the more muscle you have, the heavier you are. Thus, people like Venus and Serena Williams look slim and athletic but people might think they are fat by looking at weight alone.

As for exercise... Any sort of cardio (movement that gets your heart beating quickly) is good for weight loss. Doing crunches can build the muscle in your stomach, but if you don't lose the fat off of the top, the muscle won't be visible. Jumping rope, walking, jogging, using an elliptical machine, running up and down the stairs... all of these are good cardio workouts. Or, if you're obsessed with video games (like me,) an hour or so of Dance Dance Revolution.

Assuming you're female (your name is Tanya, so...) it will be very difficult to get abs. Women are supposed to have a layer of fat there to cushion a potential child. Women naturally have stronger/more capable abs than men, but it is much easier for men to get visible abs. This is just a basic anatomical difference. It's difficult to conquer, but it's possible.

An average person, doing average amounts of physical activity should consume ~2000 calories a day, I think. If you are dieting, no more than 1800 calories is apparently the magic number (I'm not too sure.) However, eating fruits and veggies as snacks instead of any sort of junk food seems to be a good idea. Fruit juices, water, and milk instead of sodas or sweet drinks can also help. Personally, I have given up all sweets and sodas as part of my fitness routine. Also, if you have a good smoothie shop in town that has sufficiently large smoothies, instead of grabbing a fast food meal you could stop by and get a smoothie. You're getting a decent amount of food but instead of grease and calories, you're getting fruit and the associated nutrients.

Cue some cheesy line like "Delicious and nutritious!"

Good luck with your abs!

Do something fun. Youre a kid. Dance (go learn the routines on MTV's dancelife), sports, swim. Otherwise just watch your liquids, stick to skim milk and water.
