For the last 2 weeks, Ive been dieting...bowl of fruit for breakfast, yogurt for a snack, and salads for lunch and dinner. During the day while Im at work I can stick to it, Im not tempted by the vending machines or anything, but once I get home Im hungry and all I want to do is eat all night. Is there anything I can do to curve the evening cravings. I also try not to eat after 7 and only drink water and V8 if I need somthing after 7.

you aren't getting sufficient nutrients in the day so the body is craving nutrients at night. you simply aren't eating enough

I do the same thing. Try not to eat a regular dinner, but eat two small meals, like you do during the day. Also, when you're hungry at night, drink a glass of water and wait at least 10 minutes. Sometimes your body mistakes thirst for hunger. If you're still hungry after ten minutes, eat a little something that is filling but not unhealthy. An oz. of cheese or a little bowl of oatmeal usually works for me.

It also helps me when I keep active at night. If I'm just sitting on the couch, I'm much more likely to eat, but if I'm occupied, I'm not as tempted.

Hope that helps!

You are not eating enough and it will just bite you in the butt sooner or later. Add some more substance to your diet and you will do fine.

1) Stay away from a lot of sugar and sodium.
2)Eat mainly fresh fruits and veggies. Plus limited lean meats (tuna, turkey, chicken).
3)Before eating a meal, eat your salad first.
4)Eat slowly, it takes our bodies around 30 minutes to know that its full
5)Drink 8 glasses of water each day.

Jump rope it burns 90 calories every five minutes.

-Junk food is my weakness, I just don't buy it so that I am not tempted. Its ok to have small portions of -not so healthy- foods occasionally.

For snacks try fruits & veggies. Air popped popcorn, rice cakes...ect..

Have some vegetables like celery sticks, carrots, tomatoes, etc. .... Don't use dip. They contain hardly any calories and will fill you up. You need to include proteins for a rounded diet. Best of luck.

What about plain popcorn...no butter. Pickles, olives and raw veggies like carrots and celery.
