Up until about three months ago, I've been relatively inactive. I have a lot of muscle from strength training, but I didn't do a lot of cardio because of my asthma. I started biking for ~40 minutes every day on a low resistance but high rpm to increase my cardio but avoid gaining muscle mass. I've been consuming a balanced diet of 1200 to 1500 calories a day (about the amount of calories I've always consumed, I just began eating healthier foods). I lost 6lbs in the first month, then plateaued for a while and now I've gone back up 5lbs. Why am I gaining the weight back when I haven't changed anything? How can I lose weight? I want to lose at least 10lbs by the summer. That will bring me to a healthy BMI.
Oh, and I'm slightly limited in my exercises right now because I have a separated rib. That's why I'm just biking for now.
