but now that I see everyone and their mother has one I am just a WEE BIT DISAPPOINTED. Can anyone help me get my ego back again? Would it be considered prideful or vain to appoint myself minister of the orange things in my own mind? Would it be gluttonous if I toasted myself with a drink and some white chocolate brownies?

Who cares whether it's prideful or vain or gluttonous. Those are just labels. If it makes you happy and it's not hurting anyone, do it and save me a brownie, yum.
