If you have to ask questions like that, don't even think about street racing. I've lost count how many times I've almost been in accidents as a result of these racer wanna-be's reckless driving - cutting in and out of traffic, cutting cars and trucks off, running lights, etc..

If you are arrested without incident, you'll be charged with a combination of reckless driving and other charges that will get your license suspended. If someone is hurt, same things, along with reckless endangerment and possibly battery with a motor vehicle.

If someone is killed, you'll be charged with either manslaughter or neglegent homicide along with the aforementioned, and you'll now be a convicted felon in jail for a looong time.

Doesn't seem worth it does it? I hope not..

got to agree with the reply above.my daughter was in a car and he THOUGHT it would be fun if he raced the other cars, turns out the guy he hit had no insurance, HE had no insurance either but tried to scam the insurance company by saying he was in another car at the time which WAS insured...............oh and top it all off YES my daughter was the only one that got hurt......................pi$$es me off no end but I do have some satisfaction that the little scroat is in jail, for trying to scam the insurance company, not hurting her.

And to answer your question the charges are NOT enough, jail time is NOT enough...........if you want to race save up and do it in the proper place.................NOT on the road.

it is going to fee you approximately $500.00. hire a criminal expert, tell him " i decide on the fee brushed aside or critically decreased'. If he accepts the case, and in case you do not have any earlier offenses for comparable acts, then you definately ought to be solid. you will no longer even ought to pass to court docket maximum possibly. in spite of the indisputable fact that, in case you have varied using offenses, you are going to ought to take the hit, and be taught the bus path. solid success.
