Proactiv is awesome. It is a bit expensive, but so worth it. I swear by it and I am 27. I have used it for a long time. I had even been on Retin-A and antibiotics and everything. Also, drink a gallon of water a day, you can't imagine what that does for your skin.

I got rid of 3 years worth of acne in 2 weeks with the Neutrogena system. I have the "deep clean" revitalising mask, the clear pore astringent, the Clean & Clear moisterizing cream, and the neutrogena 8-hour redness reducer. It sounds like a lot, but it works extremely well. NOT FOR SENSITIVE SKIN

Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash works really well if your skin is very problematic. I highly recommend it if you are a teen.
As I've gotten older, I have switched to St. Ives Apricot Scrub. It feels good and keeps the skin under check.
Don't use soap and hot water as it will dry your skin and contribute to your problems.

I like to use Swiss Valley Apricot Scrub. It cleans away all the dead cells off my skin and makes it look new! I also wash my face with just water during the day when I go to the restroom and wash my hands. This keeps the oil from building up and caking more pimples on my face. :)

HOT HOT water and soap...that is as good if not better than all of the crap out there right now. Make the water as hot as your skin will allow.
